People are somewhat taken aback when they are told that our nearest neighbour club is not Greystones, nor Aughrim but in fact Fishguard in Wales. Most people will be aware of the Stena Line ferry which travels from Rosslare to Fishguard and since the time Rosslare Bowling Club was founded in 2003 we have established very cordial links with the local bowling club in Fishguard. This contact has resulted in a competition played annually on a home and away basis.
The matches are played on dates in July and August and the format is mixed.
