Having gotten a taste of the good life members were anxious to taste even more of it so together but separately we organised our own trip to Portugal. The destinatiion was Club Praia da Oura in the Algarve.
We were fortunate in that one of our members, Kevin Rowly, winters in that part of the world and in particular in that exact resort so he so instrumental in organising our participation in games in the rinks.
It was there that we met members from Herbert Park Bowling Club and arising our of our encounter we have since put in place a friendly home and away match with them.
